utilities.list_supported_indexes()
Return a DataFrame of supported financial indexes.
Usage
utilities.list_supported_indexes()Each row corresponds to one index and pairs the index name with the URL of an iShares CSV holdings file plus the number of header rows to skip when parsing it. This table powers ‘download_data_constituents’.
Returns
polars.DataFrame-
A DataFrame with three columns:
- ‘index’: name of the financial index (e.g. ‘DAX’, ‘S&P 500’).
- ‘url’: URL of the CSV file with constituent holdings.
- ‘skip’: number of preamble rows in the provider file. Kept for compatibility; the header row is now detected automatically.
